We are seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team at DeVine & Associates, LLC. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, providing strategic tax planning advice, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Your expertise will be vital in helping our clients navigate their tax obligations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct thorough tax research to provide informed recommendations.
• Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant tax laws.
• Perform account reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or EA certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years experience preparing individual, corporation, partnership and non-profit tax returns
• Minimum 3 years experience reviewing individual, corporation, partnership and non-profit tax returns
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in tax accounting or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and federal/state tax regulations.
• Proficient in financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for client interaction and working well with a team.
