Restaurant Maintenance Technician
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician position provides technical and facilities support for multiple restaurant locations. This position completes regular facilities and equipment maintenance and assists in the development as well as the implementation of preventative maintenance procedures. Additionally, the
Maintenance Technician will support restaurant leadership by prioritizing and responding to maintenance issues and supervising vendor work.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Provide the first line of response to facility maintenance needs
- Perform a wide range of inside and outside basic level maintenance and repair actions to include but not limited to; painting, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical
- Inspect and maintain facilities systems and equipment including but not limited to; HVAC, kitchen and bathroom, windows, doors, roofing, ice machines, and lighting.
- Perform regular inspections of all facilities and maintain a record of the condition.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and procedures
- Contact, screen, and coordinate with external vendors and supervise their work, including maintenance and repair actions as well as required health & safety and fire & security inspections and certifications
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Three years of related experience, including facilities maintenance and repair, general knowledge of repair techniques, and proficiency in several maintenance areas (e.g., plumbing, painting, carpentry, electrical, and mechanical)
- Hands-on knowledge and experience in the safe operation of various tools, machinery, and power equipment used in performing essential functions
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of building codes and safe work practices.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and function effectively in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions, specific rules, and regulations that apply to various situations
- Ability to plan and prioritize multiple tasks, exercise sound judgment, and work independently
- Familiar with restaurant equipment and systems, a plus
Compensation & Benefits:

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
