We are hiring a part time Operations Associate to join our returns process center. This role is likely to grow to Full time for the right candidate. The role comes with paid vacation time, and participation in our profit-sharing program.

This job is located in a temperature controlled warehouse/workshop area of our office. Strong preference given to local candidates within short drive to Newport, RI.

Operations Associate – Returns Operator

• Keep warehouse stock of parts and products well organized and sorted
• Work with Operations Manager and Operations Lead to ship items to our customers from our warehouse stock as required
• Handle returns processing in our shipping and receiving area. Includes receiving and sorting of large quantities of boxed goods (nothing over 20 lbs), logging in customer received items into spreadsheets and creating refund reports.
• Refurbishing returned items –this includes unpacking, inspecting and testing returned products, updating software if needed, cleaning and re-boxing. This is a very hands-on activity in our workshop and will use some light tools. At least 60% of the job is involved in this activity.
• Cleaning, organization and maintenance of office, workshop and shipping areas, running boxes and waste materials out to parking lot dumpster, etc.
• Other hands on responsibilities as they arise

Requirements:

• Most important qualification is a hands-on attitude and high energy. There is no heavy lifting but this is a very physical job with moving light boxes and products around.
• Must be comfortable with light duty tools, power screw drivers, box cutters, taping guns.
• Must be willing to become familiar with the products with technical knowledge
• Must speak English
