Helen Hames is a Certified Senior Advisor® and the founder of Age Ambassador, where she brings deep knowledge and heart to the aging journey. Over the course of her career, she has guided more than 1,000 families through the often overwhelming process of planning for aging in place or transitioning to senior living.

With a background in corporate sales and marketing for senior living communities, Helen saw firsthand how families were often left making decisions in crisis—without the full picture, and without anyone asking the most important question: “What matters to you?”

Today, Helen is known for her compassionate, personal approach. She personally visits every community she recommends, builds strong relationships, and walks with clients every step of the way. She also hosts a radio show and contributes regularly to a local online publication, using both platforms to connect people with trusted resources, practical guidance, and real stories that inspire action.

Helen helps others create their own personalized toolbox—because planning isn’t just for one season of life. It can happen at any age and any stage. You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin.
