Please join us as we welcome Marisa Desautel, Partner at Desautel Browning Law as our April Woman of Distinction!

Attorney Marisa Desautel has been practicing law in Rhode Island and Massachusetts since 2006 and a wealth of experience as an environmental scientist and regulatory professional throughout New England. She founded the firm in 2015 and leads our Energy and Environmental Practice Group.

Marisa focuses on state and federal environmental, coastal and utility/energy statutory and regulatory compliance and civil litigation.

She brings extensive experience, having served as Senior Legal Counsel to the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management for more than eight years and has an advanced degree in marine and coastal policy.

Marisa previously served as Legal Counsel to the Rhode Island Senate Committee on Environment and Agriculture.

Free parking is available in the parking lots on either side of the building as well as on surrounding streets. Entry to Innovate Newport is via the front, Broadway facing doors. Guests may proceed through the lobby coffee shop and take the elevator or stairs to the second-floor conference hall. Guests may need to check in with the Innovate Newport Community Manager.
