Governor Candidate Sue Anderbois\nCouncilwoman Sue AnderBois currently represents Ward 3 on the Providence City Council. On Council\, she serves as chair of both the Special Committee on the Environment and Resilience and the North Main Street Task Force\, is a member of the Finance Committee\, HOPE Committee\, Public Property Committee\, and is a Parks Commissioner.Sue's career has been focused on effective policy solutions to complex societal issues. Most recently\, she was the Northeast Director of Climate & Energy for The Nature Conservancy\, as well as the Vice Chair of their North America Policy Cabinet. Sue served as RI's first Director of Food Strategy in the Raimondo Administration.She has served on several boards and commissions\, including currently on the executive committee of the Energy Efficiency and Resource Management Council and previously as chair of Providence's Sustainability Commission\, a founding member of The Local Return\, as treasurer of the Food Policy Council\, Development Chair for Green Energy Consumers Alliance\, and board member of the Southside Community Land Trust\, among others. She has an MBA from Yale University and a BA from Dartmouth College and lives in Providence with her husband Scott & their dog Captain Ruggles and two cats Zeni and Wasabi.
